Specialist in Anesthesiology with the additional qualification in Special Pain Therapy

As a child from a family of doctors, I had no chance of escaping medicine—it was very clear to me from an early age that I would become a doctor.

After my medical studies, I decided to pursue specialist training in anesthesiology, which I successfully completed in 2021.

During my time as an anesthesiologist, I have accompanied many patients with acute postoperative pain.
The immediate phase after an operation is often characterized by intense pain, and I had the opportunity to witness first-hand how debilitating pain can be for patients—not only physically, but also emotionally.

It has impressed me to see how patient-adapted and individualized pain therapy can help people regain quality of life. These experiences have sparked the desire within me to delve deeper into pain therapy: the direct contact with patients and the opportunity to help them on their journey towards less pain and more enjoyment of life are particularly fulfilling for me.

From 2021 to 2023, I completed the advanced training program „Specialized Pain Therapy“ at a renowned pain clinic. During this time, I gained extensive experience treating patients with chronic pain, both in outpatient and inpatient settings.

My curiosity and my conviction about the current possibilities of pain medicine drive me anew to further develop my expertise. Patients with chronic pain often feel misunderstood and are often plagued by doubts—both from the outside world and from within themselves. It is my goal to reach more people and show them that there are ways that can lead to an improvement in their well-being.
Since September 2024, I am delighted to be part of the team at Schmerzwerkstatt München.
